2. Device Permissions

BestApply does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location services.

The app may: • Use the clipboard to allow you to paste job descriptions or profile content • Store your App Store credentials securely in the system keychain for authentication purposes • Allow you to export CVs by letting you choose where to save files (but it does not access your file system beyond this)

We only use device capabilities essential to the app’s core functionality and never access your data without your action or consent.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal information solely to provide and improve the BestApply service:

• Cover Letter Creation: Generate customized cover letters for job applications

AI Processing

• We use OpenAI's services to analyze job descriptions and generate personalized content
• Your data is sent to OpenAI solely for processing your requests
• We do not store AI conversation logs or use your data to train AI models
• OpenAI processes your data according to their own privacy policy

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described below:

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI: We share necessary profile and job description data with OpenAI to generate personalized CVs and cover letters
• Cloudflare: Your data is stored on Cloudflare's secure servers with encryption

5. Data Storage & Security

Data Storage Overview

Your profile details, job descriptions, and AI-generated evaluation results are securely stored on our servers, hosted by Cloudflare. This allows BestApply to provide personalized CV and cover letter generation, as well as job tracking features.

Generated documents (CVs and cover letters) are not automatically saved on your device. Instead, you can choose to export them as Word files using the “Save as Word” button. These documents are generated on demand from the data stored on our servers and are not sent back to the server after export.

14. Opt-Out

If you no longer wish to use BestApply or have your data stored, you can stop using the App at any time. You may also request permanent deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected].
